The Chinese antiques you see on this website - from the 18th and 19th centuries - were acquired during the twelve years we lived in Asia. Each piece was personally chosen with great care for its authenticity and excellent original condition, as well as its beauty and style. To retain as much of the natural patina and lacquer as possible, the furniture has been carefully hand waxed.

We are extremely proud of this collection as it includes many pieces of a quality no longer available in China or in US retail stores today, and has a simplicity which will work in both traditional and contemporary interiors.
